25+ Years Experience

From over 600+ organizations in 60+ countries

Peter Andrew Nixon has trained, coached, and consulted thousands of leaders and teams in over 600 companies and government bodies in nearly 60 countries around the world.

Raised in the separatist conflicts of Montreal in the 1960’s and 70’s, Peter quickly learned the importance of cross-cultural dialogue and negotiation to accommodate differing views while achieving optimal outcomes for stakeholders. Following university in Canada, Peter joined PwC legacy firm Coopers & Lybrand and specialised in audit dialogues in Montreal, Geneva, and Hong Kong.

Recognising the growing need for dialogue globally, especially in emerging Asia, Peter launched his consultancy in pre-handover Hong Kong and set about creating Potential Dialogue. Since that time he has authored four books: Dialogue Gap, Negotiation: Mastering Business in Asia, The Business Developer’s Playbook, and Success Culture: Hurdles to being #1 in the public and private sector today; created the Dialogue Playing Cards; launched the Potential Dialogue Institute and is currently developing The Potential Dialogue Center in Canada.

Peter’s tagline, “The Solution is in the Dialogue” is motivated by the many social, economic, and environmental problems we see today. Although most of Peter’s private sector dialogues occurring inside the world’s largest banks, professional firms, and MNC’s and are protected by confidentiality agreements, Peter’s public sector dialogues have included: HK Protests, Covid Response, Iran-US, Rohingya, Israel-Palestine, Aceh-Java, Tibet-China, Sunni-Shia, hostage negotiations, MH370/17, KK Earthquake, environmental and mental health impact of rapid island growth in Bali, Phuket, and Penang.

The delivery was lively and to the point with examples relevant to our negotiation situations. Some tough questions were well-handled and the audience appreciated the insights brought by the highly experienced facilitators. They established rapport quickly. Many participants commented that they wished we had commissioned a longer session.
In particular, Peter Nixon’s experience in the professional services environment enhanced an already well - tailored session.
